Jersey Architecture Festival is a bi-annual event organised by the Association of Jersey Architects.
JA17 comprised of 24 hours of events in 1 venue offering a whole host of exciting design projects on show as well as a working architecture studio, talks from Industry Leaders and the crescendo Design Awards.
The event allows architects practicing in Jersey to socialise and the public to explore architectural design and the talent available in Jersey.
We created a brand that was cutting-edge and playful, but professional. We worked with Glen Perotte Photographer to capture the capital at its best. Structural elements were incorporated into the branding, particularly with the chosen typefaces. We also created a graphic element for the event listings which was based on the ancient Golden Ratio. This symbolised function, formula and aesthetics; components that architects have to consider in all aspects of their work.
The JA17 brand was rolled out across leaflets, posters, social media and pop up banners. Signage was also created which was placed on fencing in a key location in town during the days that the event was held.
