La Moye Golf Club

La Moye is one of Jersey’s oldest and most sought after golf facilities in the island of Jersey. Since George Bloomer first hit a ball over the dunes in 1902 La Moye Golf Club continues to inspire and nurture golf from junior to senior on and off the course.


Insight:
It was felt it was a good opportunity to assess the current branding with the opening of a new state of the art members clubhouse. As a private members only club with a waiting list of potential members, La Moye wanted to refresh their brand to stay current. The sport is changing as people have less time and generations are evolving with a choice of sociable sports now becoming popular. It was felt it was important to understand and appeal to the next generation of golfers whilst being to respectful to the tradition.

The Idea:
We created a bright friendy brand evolution redrawing the La Moye emblem looking to the future but reflecting on tradition with use of fonts. The brand toolkit includes bespoke patterns and illustrations as well as on and off line templates that the in-house marketing team could use. We recommended a digital strategy to keep in touch with members as well as an Alumni and improved website.

Impact:
Strong brand awareness has been recognised and we will continue to analyse as the brand is rolled out.
