Palladium Group are well known in the Channel Islands for their business entrepreneurship and property development. They took on a site of historic interest in 2018, formerly Royal Bank of Canada. Many financial institutions now migrating to the new financial quarter onto the Esplanade.

The Soane development takes its name from the renowned 18th century architect Sir John Soane who was involved in the design of the original building. 

The development is unique, consisting of two buildings that meet in the middle creating a central communal terrace and each entrance running along a main avenue to the town centre.

Set over five floors each of the contemporary one, two and three 55 apartments are high specification aimed at first time buyers and investors. 

A brand with these unique qualities and heritage needed to be treated with respect.  We created a refined contemporary brand to appeal to the target audience. The icon was drawn to look like a structure split in two creating a strong ‘S’ for The Soane. The typography was stripped back using a contemporary sans serif. We used a matte gold palette to compliment the photography brand style which has emphasis on the urban garden and sunset. We used simple, punchy copy to find the perfect balance between heritage and modernity.
